Vandegrift Football each year has almost 300 football players in its program. With such a large program, practice space is at a premium. The added area of a “D Zone” practice field will allow Viper football players to have plenty of room to work as they prepare for opponents. This will allow the Offensive Line, Defensive Line, Linebackers, and Running Backs to have their own space. In turn, all offensive and defensive backs will have more room on the existing turf. This will increase not only player safety, but also allow for more growth in the future.

In addition, other outdoor sports will benefit from this space including lacrosse, boys and girls soccer, Pop Warner and even baseball/softball on rainy days. Every dollar goes toward our goal of having this installed and ready for the fall of 2020.
